Our frames are specially designed to be removed. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the outer frame until it pops out.
While you can paint with the frame on, we recommend removing it as your work on your creation.
Place the frame back into the box for safe keeping and a pristine frame.
Re-attach the frame using the Phillips screwdriver once your painting is complete.
YES, indeed, these are amazing and the packaging is top-notch. Once you put one on the wall or easel you are going to work securely (after masking the frame) and once done you will admire YOUR WORK, already framed. You can show it right away and SELL it, who knows. The client can aways have it reframed if desired. I am SUPER HAPPY but the lack of choice in the sizes is something I hope will change TOMORROW!!!!
These have made my life so much simpler. Very professional looking.
I bought four frames just before the upcoming competition. The only thing left to do was finish them, as the wood came unfinished. Here's what I did: I removed the canvas, applied two coats of clear finish, taped the front and sides with masking tape, removed the loose hanging wire from the back, and then reinstalled the canvas. Perfect! Once the paintings were nearly dry, I removed the tape, and they were ready to be hung in the gallery. It’s the ideal solution for plein air competitions—and honestly, a great idea in general to have canvases already framed and ready to go.
Having a frame all ready for you when the painting is finished is ideal for me. So easy, I love this concept.
I love these! Saves me soooo much time. I just wish you had the large sizes available! I think the last ones I bought were 36x36 and they haven’t been in stock since then. And that was 2024!
